Donut rule not in effect |

Some of you
in the Pottsville office might be wondering if the winners are required to
buy donuts or healthy treats (blah) for the office. The answer
is: NO. No winner
is obligated to buy donuts for the losers. These pools
typically have a heavy outside-the-office participation, so it would not be
fair to the "outsiders" to require them to provide donuts to us
"insiders." HOWEVER, I do
remind whoever wins that it is the custom of the winner to buy DUNKIN’ DONUTS (NOT Walmart brand knockoffs) for the office
participants of that respective pool.
It is ultimately up to the winners to decide what they do with their
winnings. And since
there will be multiple hat pools this year, I would not expect the winner of
one to buy donuts for the other pools.
Nor do I expect the winner of the bracket pool to buy donuts for the
hat pool participants, and vice versa.
But, that again is up to the winner. THEREFORE,
if you want to increase your chance of donuts, I suggest you get in the hat
pools and enter the bracket pool multiple times and hope that you win enough
to buy your own! Any
non-participants who take donuts out of the mouths of those who did
participate (participants do include women and children) risk
tar-and-feathering or some other type of public humiliation, perhaps a
posting of your mugshot on this website (nah). And, of course,
a large black coffee and Dutch Crumb donut for ME would be greatly
appreciated. |
