For
those that know nothing about the women's college game, it is great. It is
what I recommend young girls and boys watch to see how to play the game since
it is very close to the high school game in regards to
format (they have quarters men's college is the only basketball organization
in the world that uses halves instead of quarters) and play (not a lot of
dunks). And they really know how to play.
Unfortunately,
gone too is JuJu Watkins from USC (you know her,
"Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there."). She
tore her ACL in the Second Round. So who is
left. The
coaches you know: UConn's Geno Auriemma and South
Carolina's Dawn Staley. You might recognize Texas's Vic Schaeffer, but you definitely do not remember his name. The
player you definitely heard of: UConn's Paige
Bueckers. She's lights out! The
player you will know if not already: UCLA's Lauren Betts The
Final Four is tonight with the first game pitting (1) South Carolina vs (1)
Texas at 7:00pm followed by (1) UCLA vs (2) UConn. Both
games are on ESPN.
