Maryland
is one of four schools with both their mens and womens teams competing in this year's Sweet 16.
The
other schools include Ole Miss, Tennessee, and freakin'
Duke.
Men's
Sweet 16 is Thursday and Friday with four games each night.
For some unknown reason, the last game both nights has
a scheduled tip time of 10:09pm, which means they won't be over until after
midnight. And the games overlap so you will have to choose which games to
watch.
Seems
like they had a lot more hours in the day to avoid those issues.
Women's
Sweet 16 is Friday and Saturday. Their
games do NOT overlap.
Women
do things better than men I guess.
There
are only 15 games remaining in both Sweet 16s.
If
you have been seeing basketball games on TV this
past week, they are NIT and other lower-class tournament games.
Nobody
was watching those. Not on TV. Not
in person.
Grandma
decided to go to bingo instead.
