After 66
games in this year's tournament, we have one remaining. And now that
the Cinderellas are gone, we can concentrate on which team is really the best
in the country. No. 1 UConn
vs No. 1 Purdue 7'-2"
Donovan Clingan from UConn vs. 7'-4" Zach Edey from Purdue That's who
we have left in the Bracket Pool, both
fighting for that final First Place ranking. Ashley took
an early lead in the standings with First Round
upset picks of #14 Oakland, #13 Yale, #12 JMU, #11 Oregon, and #11 NC State
and then continuing to ride NC State's Cinderella run to the Elite Eight. Macho 1 went
the tried-and-true method of just being good with the picks.
With only one game remaining, Macho 1 will finish with three more
victories than the next best pick percentage. Currently
Macho 1 has a 75.8% pick percentage and has UConn as champion. And correct picks matter most at the end of tournament. It doesn't hurt that Macho 1 rode NC State's magic
pumpkin carriage all the way to the Final Four. It pays to
be lucky. It also pays to be good.
It pays even more to be both. It also pays
to be average check out the Bracket
Pool page
for additional prizes. Those places are all up for
grabs. Good luck to
everyone. Enjoy the
game! If you can
stay awake for it. |
