And not at the Strip District either

The place to be Saturday night was in Pittsburgh at the PPG Paints Arena! The night started at 7:10 PM Pittsburgh time with the best Cinderella game of the tournament between #11 NC State and # 14 Oakland. With the game tied nearing the end of regulation, Oakland had the ball with a chance to win it, but they ended up turning it over and never got a shot. NC State had 1.3 seconds to heave a three-quarter court shot that hit board and then rimmed off. 40 minutes was not enough. Let's play another 5. NC State pulled away in overtime, beating Oakland 79-73. I blame myself, Oakland coach Kampe said about how the end of regulation went down. We got the ball with 17 seconds to go, and we didn't get a shot. There's only one person to blame for that. That s me, and I've got to sit here and live with that now. Ah, shucks. Don't be so hard on yourself. At least now everybody knows you're not from Oakland, California. Well, let's give the fans in the stands 30 minutes to hit the restrooms and concessions, and we will play the second game of the night between #11 Oregon and #3 Creighton. Well, that game was even more exciting. 40 minutes was not enough either! But neither was an extra 5 minutes. We're going to a second overtime! But, with some guys playing the entire game, Oregon seemed to run out of gas. Creighton wins in two overtimes, 86-73. NOW let's go to the Strip District. Unless it's already closed for the night.
