No. 13 seed Yale pulled off the biggest upset of Friday's first-round NCAA Tournament action with a 78-76 takedown of No. 4 seed Auburn. The Bulldogs were 11.5-point underdogs entering the game, trailed by as many as 10 points with 7:16 to go and faced a six-point deficit with 4:07 to go before finishing on a 14-6 run to advance to the second round for the second time in school history.

"I don't know if that's the best win in Yale basketball history," Yale coach James Jones said, "but I will tell you that's the best basketball team that we've beaten in Yale basketball history."

Yale is lucky to even be in the Tournament.

In their Ivy League championship game against Brown, Yale was trailing 61-60 with possession and clock running down. A drive to the basket, a bounce pass, and a point-blank floater as time expired allowed Yale to claim the Ivy championship and that league's only invitation to the tournament.

They are even luckier to even win their game vs Auburn or at least avoid overtime.

Auburn was down two points with 6.1 seconds remaining and two foul shots.

Foul shot miss. Foul shot miss. Rebound Auburn. Block shot by Yale. Rebound Auburn. Block shot by Yale. Rebound Auburn. Three-point shot by Auburn miss at the buzzer.

Game over.

Yale you win, and Brackets everywhere lose.

With Yale's win, only 23 perfect brackets remained worldwide.

Crazily, 14 brackets in our pool picked Yale.
